About Us

Foundational          Faith          Future

Welcome to Faith and Freedom Academy, where we embrace a multi-age classroom environment that fosters collaboration and community. Our back-to-basics curriculum emphasizes mastery-based learning, ensuring each student fully understands the material before moving forward. With hands-on opportunities and small class sizes, we provide personalized attention to support each child's unique learning journey.  Our curriculum incorporates reading, writing, math and American history, as well as activities that include planting and gardening to instill teamwork, responsibility, and entrepreneurship. Join us in cultivating a love for learning in a nurturing and faith-centered atmosphere.

Our Mission: At Faith and Freedom Academy, we nurture the hearts and minds of children through a one-room, multi-age learning environment rooted in the enduring values of faith, freedom, and stewardship. Guided by American ideals of individual responsibility, community spirit, and the pursuit of truth, we cultivate a love for learning that transcends age and grade. Our students grow together in character and intellect through a rich, hands-on education that integrates faith-based principles, outdoor exploration, and the natural rhythms of life. We prepare children not only to thrive academically but to live with purpose, gratitude, and a deep respect for God, country, and creation.

Our Vision: We envision a vibrant learning community where students of all ages grow together in wisdom, faith, and character. Rooted in the teachings of Christ and the enduring values of America’s foundation, we aim to raise a generation of leaders who love God, cherish freedom, and serve others with humility and courage. Through multi-age collaboration, hands-on learning, and moral instruction, we prepare students to impact their families, communities, and nation for the glory of God.

Back to School

Our Story

Faith and Freedom Academy was born from a deep desire to provide our community with a faith based education where students thrive spiritually, emotionally, and academically, preparing them for a bright future.  We believe that schools should foster creativity and curiosity in our students while honoring God and instilling a deep appreciation for America. As master teachers, we felt that no curriculum is a "one-size fits all". No child should be held back if they are ready to move ahead and no child should be moving on if they have not mastered concepts. We saw the desperate need to get "back-to-basics" in our schools. And with that, the dream of the traditional one-room school house was born.  We are so excited to get started and see what God has in store for our little school in Anderson, SC
